Verse for the Day - July 20

Psalm 127:3 Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward. Father, thank you for letting me have children. Only you know the joy they give me. Others may see the joy and pain, but only you really know the joy. As for anyone who has not had children - once again - only you know the reasons. We are all someones reward. We are all heritage and what we do with that heritage all depends on how we choose to follow Jesus. May we all be Christ Followers and blessings to those who bore us. My desire is to always be an example to my children's children. My desire is to always be that light on the hill. Help me to be a true reward. Amen.

Amen, Sally! This has really encouraged my heart today as I am going through a difficult season with my son right now! Thank you for your sensitivity to the Spirit of God!

Donna, Having raised four sons I can assure you that there are valleys and mountains in every life. Sometimes the valley can seem so low we don't know how to cross out of it. Just remember that the same Lord who blessed you with your child is the same Lord that knows every hair on that childs head. He is the same Lord that has called your son by name and formed him in your womb. I do not know the problems that you are having, but I do know that the Lord will not cease to call your son, so lay your burden down - take up the yoke that Jesus bears and rest in knowing that the Lord is perfect in everything. This weekend we celebrate my oldest's 32nd birthday which was actually 7-19. He is a fine Christian man and I thank God for him. After three years of trying to get pregnant, I desperately prayed for him and God gave me His blessing through this wonderful person I call my son. PTL. God is so faithful! luvitsunnyv
