MY HUSBAND IS GOING TO START GOING TO CHURCH!!!!!

I am so happy!! God drew me back to himself 3 years ago and since then I have desperately wanted my husband to go to church with me. At first I asked and begged and pleaded with him to go, but God let me know it was His job and not mine to get him in church and for me just to let my light shine to him. So I quit asking. I just told him of events as they were part of my life. This summer there is a 13 week seminar going on about Financial Peace and how to get your finances together. My husband wanted to go to that. He not only is going to church now he is also tithing (giving 10% of our income to the church). God is so good. I just can't express how happy I am at these first steps my hubby is taking!!

Praise the Lord for this. God is so good at doing what we can't do ourselves. Hugs, Trish

How wonderful and exciting for you. I have a super hubby too, he got baptised for me so we could join our church. He'd been saved since he was a teen but just never got around to the "dunkin'". Not bad for a 60 year old to get baptised, except he almost pulled the Pastor down with him.. It's going to be so awesome for you to share this part of your lives together.God so blesses us when we let Him. Congatulations. Karen

Amazing - God's word is right again (LOL). Somewhere is the verse about the gentle ways of the believer turning the unbeliever......... Yeah!!!

Amy, That is such wonderful news!!! It made me look back and remember when my husband made the decision to give his life to the Lord, he came in and he grasped a hold to the principle of tithing immediately! I remember when he went to our Pastor and said that he tithed for the first time, our Pastor told him that usually people come to him and say they are going to start tithing, but he came and said he did, and he has been a faithful tither ever since!! He also came right in and started singing for the Lord, he has always had such a wonderful voice but never sang publicly until he came to the church, and boy what an annointed Psalmist he is (I'm not just saying that because he's my hubby)!!!!! God had raised him up for such a time as this!! So, I said all of that to say, get your seatbelt on and get ready for what God is going to do in the life of your husband and it may happen so fast that it wil make your head spin. So as Bishop Jakes would say: Get Ready!! Get ready!!! Get ready!!! This is awesome!!!!!!
