Daily Prayer Requests 17th July 2007
Good am all,
Let's say some prayers for one another that we continue to grow our love, hope and faith in each other and God as well. Many times in life we struggle to follow the right paths. Please say prayers for those we don't know. Sometimes we get caught up in our own lives and forget that there are others who are worse off than us and if we really clue into our lives we will see we have so much to be thankful for. Please say some prayers for those who are continuing to battle with health issues.
Have a great day!
Kat
Good Morning Kat,
I am on my way to the hospital to work. Please pray for me to be a blessing to the patients.
I have not had an update on Bob. They were supposed to take the breathing tube out yesterday. Please continue to pray for him and Ruth.
I would appreciate prayer. I am having a lot of anxiety about my finances and was terribly tempted to get drunk last night. I am in recovery for alcoholism and have not had a drink in almost 6 years.
Thanks,
trish
Good am Trish,
Prayers coming your way. I do know about the temptations that drive us and drinking would sound good to me too now & then. I have fought those demons and do not need alcohol in my life. In fact, it would only add to any negatives I'm facing and we need our full capacity to function and turn those negatives into positives. I am VERY proud of you! 6 years is a great number. Keep going higher! DETERMINATION! I will continue to pray for Bob and Ruth. Have a wonderful day at the hospital today. You never know who's life you might touch. Be open to it!
Big hugs,
Kat
I try not to bring troubles here much...please pray for my finances as well. Things seem to be going from bad to worse and I am truly scared as to where this could leave us. The first thing I did when I got out of bed this morning was to fall down on my knees and pray some hard hard prayers...I know God has a plan for all of us, even when we cannot see it for ourselves. We have had a lot dumped on our shoulders and it is getting the best of me...I know this is the devil...I am ashamed to admit that I feel as though my hard prayers are being ignored. I know this cannot really be true but I still feel like it. I am at the end of my road and just want to give up.
This is the perfect place to "bring your troubles." When we keep things inward and do not reach out for help after exhausting the ways and means we have/know that are available to us we continue to invite the Devil in. Times are hard, tough and trying and so we have to learn on one another. The power of prayer is truly amazing and lots are coming your way as well. God DOES have a plan for all of us and taking steps to reach out is part of the plan. Your prayers are not being ignored. God just may not be giving you the answers you want. Giving up and giving in are EASY. NOTHING and I MEAN NOTHING worth having is easy. If you would like to message me privately I'd be glad to talk with you and offer up any suggestions to you that may help. I've been in rough spots as well as others and words of encouragement and outside perspective are true blessings.
Big hugs and many prayers for/to you...
Kat
I would also like to encourage you as well. The Word of God tells us to cast all of cares upon him because He cares for us. God is concerned about everything that concerns you, he is so concerned about you that he has numbered the hairs on your head and he is aware when one is missing.
Now, when we pray, we must pray in faith believing that God will do what we asked of him. Sometimes God answers our prayers in ways that we don't expect. You are in the right place for God to move on your behalf, because when you are at the end of your rope, God is just beginning.
So be encouraged today and know that God is working all things out for your good, but most of all for His glory!!!!!!
