Good am all, I understand there was some negativity on the Main Message Board with regard to Christianity etc. There is a forum here and we WILL grow in numbers and strength. Just as Jesus faced negativity so shall we but we can stand tall and strong. I will include this forums link in my signature line moving forward. This board is not yet suped up like the main and some other ones but we will get there. Lets take some time to introduce ourselves in the "Roll Call" post so that we may have a better clue as to who we all are. I post 2 daily posts Monday-Friday! One is called Daily Prayer Requests and the other Daily Thankful For's. The prayer request one is for others and ourselves as well. The thankful for's are for us to list at least 3 things each day we are thankful for! Lets expand on things and make this board GREAT! Also, Sally does a daily bible verse and its AWESOME! Randall does the Morning Coffee Talk posts and they are just so wonderful and inspirational! So? Welcome and I am blessed, thankful and grateful to see YOU here! All best, Kat

Good Morning - I knew there was some reason I woke up at 6 a.m. It was to be with my family (yes guys - that is you!!!!) The love and support I get from this board is the reason I am able to be successful in my WL and my daily walk. How sad it was for me to hear that our site had been discussed in a negative way. Oh well - Satan is fighting a sad and losing battle so he will try to "make us feel bad" with words. Well thankfully for all of us the battle was fought long ago and Jesus snatched those keys from his nasty old hands. It is on The Rock I stand - all other ground is shifting sand. I just wanted to apologize for not posting yesterday - got a bit behind in my job and never made up the ground. Partly because instead of using my lunch break, my wonderful boss took me to lunch for my birhtday. One final thought before I close. It is a very ugly world right now - those of us who watch the sky for the return of our King can see the acceleration of events as we count down to that day. Do not let the world steal your joy. Jesus is King and he is returning. He will be given all honor -glory-praise. I serve the King. - Love Sally

Hi, I'm Angie. I had RNY on may 15, 2007. I have gone from a 43 bmi to a 37 bmi so far. I have been a Christian for 3.5 years now, having been raised in a household that never spoke of God. I just sorta found Jesus on my own after being seriously anti-Christian. I am not the most faithful person, but I do my best to surround myself with the Lord, and grow deeper. My name is Catherine, I have been a Christian all my life, but never practised. I was always surrounded by church going family, my whole family on both sides have been raised in church our whole lives. It has always been in the back of my mind, but life was always more important. I am so thankful that Jesus was always knocking on the door of my heart and a few times I did answer, but it wasn't until about 3-4 years ago that I actually opened the door and let Him come in. I thank my God each and everyday that He was persistent in His knocking and loved me enough to stay standing at the door on my heart even though the door was closed. I love being surrounded by fellow Christians because we have one important thing in common. Blessing to each and every one of you. Catherine
