I am almost 7 weeks out from my surgery and am still struggling with throwing up nearly everything I eat. I can't even take my vitamins because they make me throw up 100% of the time. I'm not miserable or anything, but I am frustrated that I cant eat many things without getting sick. Please pray for me. Hugs-Amy

Amy, When I was first out of surgery, I drank my vitamins. GNC sells Women's Ultra Mega, a powder that can be mixed with water or juice and I found it yummy. The powder is a strawberry flavor and it is loaded with vitamins. You may want to try that, if you are able to keep liquids down. Praying for this to resolve. Hugs, Trish

Amy, I am holding you up in prayer. The Lord formed you in your mother's womb and can make your insides work in perfect order. I am believing for your healing. In the mean time, chew thoroughly and slowly. Follow your instructions and slow down your eating, laying your fork down between bites. If this does not resolve soon, call your surgeon. Love ya, girl. Amy my dear - slow down. 7 weeks is not a long time. I barfed up stuff forever it seemed. Go back to very bland food. Softly pureed stuff. Cottage cheese. Ricotta cheese. You have a baby tummy. As for the vitamins - spread them out over the day. Use a little bit of applesause to sooth the angry beast. Best wishes and prayers coming your way. By the way - I lived off applesauce, cottage cheese and ricotta cheese for almost 3 months. I survived and have turned the corner. You will too. Sally
