Very Sad Verse for the Day June 29
Psalm 55:1
Give ear to my prayer O God; and do not hide Thyself from my supplication.
Father- I pray now for Angela's family in their time of need. Be with them and hold them close. Do not let this tragic moment dominate thier lives, instead let it be filled with the love and glory of Jesus. Amen.
Dear Friends - My daughter-in-laws beautiful cousin, 26 years young, mother of three, committed suicide. No one saw it coming. No one knew of her dispare. No one except the God who loves us so much that he gave his own life for us. Sadly Angela did not turn to that source of comfort in her confussion and dispare. I pray for all of you to know that Jesus is the answer to all darkness - He is the light that shines true and bright. We just have to look for him in the midst of all our pain and sorrow. I am terribly saddened by all of this loss. So young - so beautiful - so alone. Such an incredible waste.
How awful that is. Years ago, my former pastor's son took his life at age 18, just weeks before graduating from high school. My father-in-law also committed suicide when my husband was only 19.
I work in a psychiatric hospital part time and see people who have attempted suicide and understand the pain that they talk about. It is sad when people believe that they have nobody in their life who can help them see their way out of the pain.
I will pray for this young family in their time of grief.
Hugs,
Trish
