Well friends I need all the prayer you can give me. Our adult womens Sunday school teacher is leaving the church and I am now the full time teacher instead of a substitute. I just feel unworthy to teach the class even tho they have told me I do a great job as "sub". Just feel a bit overwhelmed altho I'm sure God will be holding my hand. Our whole little church needs prayer as we have had a very disruptive and tumultuous year. People are leaving, our Pastor was forced out and we have a transitional Pastor while we try to figure out where to go from here. I just pray we survive as a body because it looks worse all the time. Anyway thank you for your prayer I will need it.

Hi Karen, I do believe that you will do just fine as the sunday school teacher, none of this is taking God by surprise, and because He already knew what was going to happen, He has equipped you to do it. So go forth in His strength and you will be amazed by what He will do through you, that is what He wants is a vessel that is willing to be used by Him for His glory. Remember the ram in the bush, he was being prepared the whole time for the offering, so your time as substitute was your time of preparation! As far as the things that are happening in your church, I just feel in my spirit that this is a time that the Body of Christ needs to be in prayer like never before, we have to pray for our leaders, because the enemy is trying to discredit the church and the Lordship of Jesus Christ. This will require the real warriors to take a stand and fight in the spirit realm to tear down strongholds and principalities.

I really enjoy reading your posts Donna. They keep me looking at the prize. As for "our not being ready"? for a position that the Lord has moved us to? Well I think each of the ladies on this post have already addressed this and Karen is on track now. But the real story here is the need to let go of the things of the earth - our pastors, our friends, our family. We need to know that the end is coming at us like a freight train - no stopping it - jus****ching for the signs that are popping up day and night. Keep your lamps filled with oil friends - the Bride Groom approaches. Love Sally

I agree with what Donna said. I think you will do just fine because God is always there "holding your hand." Our church in GA went through a really hard time also recently. Our pastor left and then our assistant pastor left because of some personal problems in his marriage and then our music minister left a few months later. We went without anyone for about six months. They have just recently found an interim pastor but I honestly believe our church is stronger because of it. People stepped up and helped out and there was of course lots of prayers going up. I believe people need (in our church anyway) to learn to pray and be there for others and quit thinking about themselves only. Just my personal opinion and I think our church is learning that. Shel

Thanks so much ladies, you are so right. I let Satan sidetrack me there for a minute. After my prayer time this morning I thought what was I afraid of? This is going to be a wonderful opportunity for me to grow and hopefully touch other lives! So pooh on you Satan!! Don't need your input. Lookin' to the Lord!
