GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS!

Hi Ya'll, I want to share with you something that happened recently.... I am the assistant praise and worship leader in my church. Well, for 2 months now I have begun to question whether or not I am fulfilling my ministry. I was beginning to question if I was supposed to be in another church and if I was staying in my local assembly out of a loyalty to my pastor and friends, or if this was truly the place where I was supposed to be. Anyway, The Senior praise and worship director had been placed on night shift several months ago and so he would lead the worship services on Sunday mornings and the other services were up to me. So Sunday Evening a week ago I was praying before services and calling out to God! I was praying so intensely for an answer to where I was supposed to be. Finally in desperation I prayed, "Lord, I have listened and prayed and pleaded for direction...I need an answer tonight! So if it's your will that I am to stay here then you allow Bro. Anderson (Senior Music Director) to come to services tonight. If he comes in I will know that this is where I am to be. If not I will know that it is time to move on." So service begins and it is a wonderful service and half-way through the service who should walk in but Bro. Anderson. I was able to ask him later what happened? He said he wasn't sure his boss just walked up and told him he could go. It wasn't anything that was expected, he had not requested off or anything. Oh and by the way they moved him back to day shift as well..... That's God answering prayers!

Isn't it funny how God moves in our lives and the lives of people we pray for and about.? I just get the goosebumps from stories like this. Praise the Lord for His clear answer. Hugs, Trish
