Hi everyone back but tired..
I started having a high temp on June 7th (102.2) and I went to my home towm ER who promptly(with no tests other than urine) told me I had a UTI and gave me anti-biotics and sent me home. I KNEW this was not it because I have had a UTI ad this was much worse. I had an appt with my vascular surg in Chicago on the 11th, so I called my Surgeon (who knows I live 550 miles away from Chicago)and he said to come on in that day and he would have someone see me(How cool is that?).
I went in and explained my shortness of breath, pain, temp etc. They decided to admit me promptly on the 11th. They did a ct scan and found a pocket of blood mixed with fluid from a very tiny leak. They did a MRI and more tests as well. This is cool though, none of the nasty mixed with my blood. The doc could not explain it-it just formed a barrier around itself!! I know God's hand was there even in this hard time. They drained the nasty stuff in my side which took forever because there was over a liter in there. The also placed a drain which I get to wear for 3 weeks until I see the doc again. All in all I was in the hospital for 6 days.
Anyway-thats where I have been...and if I get lost again I am just resting up because I am so very tired!! Hugs and God Bless you. Amy
