Check out photos of my granddaughter (OT)
Well, if she is tall and skinny, she comes by it honestly. Her mom is 5'8" and weighed 130 all through high school. I was 5'9" and weighed 135 all through high school. Praise God, my daughter, her mother, was a cross country runner, so she has always had a good exercise regimen. She still, as an adult, runs regularly and works out.
I looked at her feet and see she is going to be tall. Her uncle, Sean, had big feet at birth. He is 6'2" tall. My other son is 6'1" tall.
You are right, I cannot wait to get to Michigan and get my hands on her and just hug, and kiss and cuddle and rock and sing to her. I will have to fight with my mother for a turn to do that though. My mom is going with me.
I am just busting with joy and excitement tonight. The tears just keep flowing. God is so good. His blessings on my family are just overflowing right now.
Hugs,
Trish
Trish - Congrats on the beautiful granddaughter. I have to laugh at the big feet - tall thing. My parents were told that I would be very tall because my legs were so much longer than my torso and my feet were huge. All through my teen years we waited patiently for that growth spurt - I had a 34 inch inseam and a size 9. 5 shoe. Well I am 53 in about a month and I am still waiting - all 5'4" of me! My legs are still the longest part of me and my kids have always referred to me as there mom - the egg on stilts! Love Sally
Trish....your new granddaughter is beautiful.
My daughter and her husband are on the other side of the v ertical line.....My daughter is 5'3" (but wears a size 10 shoe) and her husband 5'7" (wears a man's 8 1/2), . They can actually share sandals. After viewing a 3/4D a couple of weeks ago, I have an idea my new granddaughter is going to be rather petite.
So do you have plans to see her soon?
