Hello My fellow Christian Weight loss surgery Friends! Praise the Lord for this beautiful world we live in! I am doing well with my weight loss since my surgery on 2/6/07. I hve lost around 75 lbs since then and 68 lbs before surgery so i lost a little over 140 lbs all together.I did have a point for a few weeks with horrible diarhea and have cut out all dairy products as i am Lactose Intolerance.. My prime doc gave me Lomotil and tht helps me to as i still get diarhea from 1 thing or another.. I have had a mild back problem for the past 3 yrs and now it has gotten 10 tens worse when i move the wrong way or twist or turn the wrong way it makes me feel like someone is stabbing me in the back--it seems to travel from the middle of my but up to my back only on the one side my left side and then other times it seems to travel across to my leg and liike in my sciatica.. So i asked my prime doc if i can get a cat scan-- i am terrified of MRI's. Even the open ones.. I also am sure i have a UTI and this does not help the pain in my back--i called my docs office yesterday and talked to her nurse and she said my doctor will call be back and as of now she has not-she runs strange hours and she could call anytime--but she is in the process of moving her office so shemay have forgot--but i am in such pain--as long as i do not move the pain is minimum but bend over or stretch my left arm and owe--the pain stiffles me and i feel like someone stabbed me in the back--i also have kidney disease so i am afraid it could be my kidneys--i also have other diabetic complications like neuropathy and artery disease and eye disease... i have a high tolerance for pain but with all the pain i have including osteo arthritis it is more than i can bear--i constantly pray for God to heal me and sometimes i just feel like he does not want too--i know we all get this way sometimes and i do have alot of faith--but how much pain can one person take. I am thankful for having the wl surgery and happy that i do not have cancer or anything worse--but i am getting in my depression mode again. O know of alot of people who have bad backs and have had so many surgeries on their back and did not help at all--i am so afraid that it might be a disc problem--please pray for me my friends.. and may God Bless you all too. Susie, you are in my prayers. God is for us, with us, under us, upholding us, around us, and watching over us. He has promised that He will take care of us. I just know that God has this situation covered! (1 Peter 5:7)

I am definitely praying for you. I have had to go to a chiropractor since my surgery. That has helped me wtih chronic back pain. Hugs, Trish

Dearest Father God, You are the God who hears our prayers and the God who loves us so much you gave your only son for our salvation. Hear this prayer and help my sister Susie with her pain. I do not know the sourse, but I do know that you are the healer and comforter. As in the days of Job, my sister has chosen to call herself blessed because of all that you have done. Thankfully you know all things and know the reasons for all things. Please give my sister peace in body and mind. Help her to carry this burden or heal her of it. We give you the praise - honor and glory for all that you have done and will do for us. In the name of our risen Lord Jesus we ask for these things. Amen.

I feel your pain, literally, I have battled constant back pain for 2 years since I had a spinal for surgery. I think they messed up a nerve so I understand how frustrating and strength draining it is. I will hold your up in prayer. However with your kidney situation I wouldn't wait too long or at least go to the emergency room to have it checked. You don't want to cause any more damage to the kidneys if that is what it is. Susie, I am not a medical professional, but I know pain. I just would encourage you to call 100 times if you have to in order to get the relief you need. Besides that, your health is delicate as it is and you must not just wait around. I pray God will give you boldness, the doctor direction and instruction and that you will be delivered from your pain. In Him, Kim M.
