Good Morning All...

I have my consult with Dr. Katz this morning and I am a little nervous, but don't know why. I just had to remind myself: "God has not given me a Spirit of Fear...but of power, love and a sound mind". Please keep me in your prayers today, because I'm not quite sure why I am nervous, it is only my consult. Thanks again. My prayer for each of you today is to enjoy God's best for your life this day! Father I lift up Donna to you and pray you will calm her spirit and help her to know you go before her as you say in John 10...your sheep know you and they hear your vice. Hi Donna-I find when I'm fearful or nervous about something it's usually Satan trying to cast doubts and make me second guess what I know is right. So I pray that he will leave you alone so you can have peace about your doctor visit today, I'm sure it will go fine. Karen

Hello Everyone, Sorry, I am just not getting a chance to get back on. First, I want to say thank you for your prayers today and your words of encouragement, it has truly blessed my heart to know that you all care so much. I do believe the Father's heart was blessed today as well. My consult went very well with Dr. Katz, I do believe that I am leaning more towards the Bypass now instead of the band, but this is definitely a matter of prayer. Dr. Katz was very nice and seemed to be very knowledgeable in his field, I just sensed that I would be okay with him. My husband was able to go to the consult with me and so that made me feel better as well, I wasn't very happy to find out that I have gained another 8lbs., but I am not going to focus on that to much, I have to lose about 30lbs. before the surgeon will do the WLS, and that is fine with me, I just need to speak to my body and make it line up. Well, that is all I have for now, and thank you all again.

AMEN!! I am so glad your meeting went well! You WILL be a changed person because of the surgery. I know thats my prayer for myself, Also I pray I will be able to do a lot more for him too! Through all these changes, its good to know He doesn't change!! He was with you in that meeting and he will be with you throughout this process!! Praise God!
