I am new to this board...

Hello All, I am new to this board and found out about through a post from Trish, since I've been on OH, I kept saying there should be a board for christians to come to and I had been trying to find it all this time, I am so glad that Trish gave me the link and I will be saving it as my favorites. I am preop and will be having my consult with Dr. Katz on tomorrow. I am asking for prayer because I want to make the right decison about which procedure I am going to chose, Lap Band vs. RNY. At this point I am very undecided, but do know that WLS is the way to go for me. I praise God for this board! Well, I thank you all for taking the time to read my post. Peace & Blessings

Yes Lucy, that is exactly what I need... the wisdom of God, one of my prayers have been to have the wisdom of Solomon throughtout this journey and I want to be very sensitive to whatever the Spirit of God is saying to me throughout this process. Thank you for your kind words!

Donna, I am so glad you found this board. I just love the people here. Godly prayer warriors who care not just about WLS, but our relationships with the Lord and each other. There are many places to check on this site but my favorite it this forum because here not only is weight loss our bond but Jesus Christ Whose Name is above every name. Donna...too cool about wisdom of Solomon...I read that just today but read the wrong day which should have been yesterday...and it was about how solomon had prayed for God's wisdom and with that the Lord gave Him what He did not ask for. Isn't the Lord so good.....He is the giver of every good and perfect gift. Joan M
