Verse for the Day May 26

John 15:13 Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. Father, I thank you for all the men and women who have laid their lives down for me. Thank you for their loving sacrifice so that I can live free and tell everyone that I love Jesus. Thank you for the men and women who serve in harm's way and daily lay themselves down for me, a complete stranger. Bless and protect our soliders Lord. Amen.

Yes Father, on this day of celebrating your Son as we have the freedom to worship you, we pray for the men and women who serve daily to protect that freedom. We pray for our leaders for Godly wisdom which comes from you and that they would make choices directed by you. In Your Name, Amen Joan
