Verse of the Day May 19

Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Father, I thank you that I am not finished yet. Thank you that you still have your perfect hand on my life and my growth. Help me to be all that I am suppose to be so that people will say with wonder and awe, "What an Amazing God!" Amen.

Amen and Amen. I am amazed daily at how the Lord wants to complete us in Him. And into His likeness..isn't that amazing to ponder? The Creator of the Universe wants me to be like Him. How unworthy I feel, yet I believe His Word and He is able to do it! I love that song also.."He Who began a good work in you, He Who began a good work in you...will be faithful to complete it..will be faithful to complete it..He who started the work, will be faithful to complete it in you..." I am comforted in this verse because it tells me that I am not done growing yet, and God is the one doing the growth in me. I am a work in progress, and God loves me enough to keep me growing. Hugs, Trish
