Surgery Fri-please pray

Hi all, my surgery is fri. I am leaving today and will not be back for 2 weeks or so since my surgery is in Chicago, 550 miles away. I will not have my computer but I have an angel from the DS board and I will ask her to post my progress over here too. I have been reading the book of Job. I was thinking the other day that it was not the best part of the Bible to be reading prior to surgery. Today I finished it, however. I had only read it once before and today I got to the final chapters where God is asking Job who he thinks he is by questioning Him. It was just what I needed though because it also illustrates the vastness of God's power and that He is in control no matter what. Of course, it also illustrates His mercy and grace as Job gets everything back double. It was very appropriate and uplifting for this time in my life. God is good-all the time!!Please pray for me as I have surgery. Anyway-I will see you all later. God Bless you all- hugs-Amy

Will keep you in prayer and send you journey mercies for your trip. I love Job everytime I feel like I can't make it another step I try to remember all he went thru. The Lord truely wants to bless us all the time. Karen
