Some prayer requests

I have two prayer requests. 1. A dear friend at church, who hosts a Bible study I attend, has breast cancer. She is going to be having a double masectomy on Friday, May 11th. Please pray for this sister. 2. My ulcer is flaring up again. I have been nauseous, and having pain again. Thanks, Trish

Trish, I will pray for her surgery and that they get all the cancer. Also, do you take anything for your ulcer. I had an ulcer and found out about two weeks before my WLS. My mom also has an ulcer and we have been told that we will probably have to take something like Nexium or Prilosec for the rest of our lives. I know what brought mine on was I was taking Aleve, two at night and two in the morning. I haven't had any flare ups but I continue to take Prilosec. Shel

I will also hold you and your friend up in prayer. I have had breast cancer but was blessed to have found it very early so only needed a lumpectomy and radiation. So I'm a bit lop-sided but, none the worse for wear, hope to get that repaired one day. Even my "easy" case was stressful so I can't imagine what a serious situation is like. Hopefully your doctor can treat the ulcer and settle it down. Keeping you in prayer. Karen
