No Surgery Yet- Postponed at the last minute

Hi all-I am back home after coming within hours of my surgery date only to be cancelled. I am rescheduled actually for 2 weeks from today. We were already half way to Chicago(we were 5 hours from home) and they called this morning and said that there had been a mix up and my date had been given away, so they gave me a new date of the 18th of May. I was not happy because we had spent the monry to rent a hotel and get that far. Plus I had been on a presurgery diet and had already taken my first bowel cleansing treatment-not something I want to do unless I have too BTW. Plus I am ready to get the surgery part over and get on the mend and start losing weight. However, there are good things to the postponement. I am having my monthly cycle and I would much rather do that at home. Plus my daughter will only miss 2 days of school instead of 10. Also I haven't been to church in some time due to trips to Chicago and illness and now I can go for a few services before I get my surgery. God is in control of this and he will be sure that the time is right for me. So 2 weeks longer..I can do that...hugs Amy
