Verse of the day May 3rd

Luke 6:20 -23 And turning His gaze on His disciples, He began to say, "Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God. Blessed are you who hunger now, for you shall be satisfied. Blessed are you who weep now, for you shall laugh. Blessed are you when men hate you, and ostracize you, and cast insults at you, and spurn your name as evil, for the sake of the Son of Man. Be glad in that day, and leap for joy, for behold, you reward is great in heaven; for in the same way their fathers used to treat the prophets." Dear Lord, Let the message of hope on that mountain so long ago be reignited in all of our lives today. Let us be hungry for your word and lead us to the banquet table to fill our souls with your love and glory. Let us all be satisfied with knowing you. Amen.
