Ok now I have time to think

Everything is set. I have the money. All of the doctors have their documents and Fri is indeed the day. Thank you all for your prayers. I went to the doc today and she just said hi and we talked and that was it-she didnt even charge me. She faxed everything. Soooo...now I can either freak or trust God. I really feel the pressure and uncertainty. I know "God has plans for me, plans to help me and not harm me, plans for a hope and a future" as he says in Jerimiah(sp). I am just glad that I have read the entire Bible now and most of it more than once. I have the Word inside of me and when the enemy tries to rattle me I can tell him what the Word says just as our example,Jesus, did when he was tempted after fasting 40 days and nights. I am also bringing my bible and Joyce Meyer Magazines with me. I guess it is kinda like the doctors doing all these things to prevent blood clots. They have me taking lovenox shots at home, they placed a filter in me, they will make me wear squeezy boots in bed and they make you get up and walk.All this to prevent a crisis from a blood clot. I guess God has promted me to prevent a spiritual crisis while I am in the hospital.I prayed and continue to pray, I fasted, I planted financial seed, I am bringing music, I read the Word and commited much to memory, I am bringing the Word with me, I am bringing other Christian books and magazines with me and most importantly I have you all, my family and everyone else I know praying for me. God is so good!! Well I will see you all on the other side of WLS. I post on the DS board and I have someone posting there for me-I will see if she will copy her posts here so you all know how I am doing as I will be gone maybe 2 weeks. I love you all. I am praying and trusting God for everything that happens in Chicago. I had to take the Lovenox shots while I was in the hospital and for two weeks afterward. I empathize. Remember who your Father is. He is in control of everything. Hugs and love, Trish

Girlfriend...we are not works based...God has already done it all on your behalf for all eternity when Jesus died on the cross. If you never planted a faith seed God is still faithful...if you never prayed...God is still faithful...if you never did anything else but say yes to what Jesus did...He is still faithful...you see that is GRACE...Unmerited favor....we can't earn it because then it would take away from what Jesus did and God won't share His glory. So now just rest and know that He loves you with a never ending love.....there is nothing we can do to separate us from His love nor anything that we do not do that will separate either. I did all the precautions as my surgeon suggested and trusted the Lord in that too. He knows all and I do not. Then I took a deep breath and rested in His care. Nothing or no one can touch us apart from God's permission and that it is even filtered through His hands of love, that is where faith comes in. Dear Trusted Lord, I lift up Amy to you as she begins the long walk to recovery. Help her to come through surgery as quickly and as effortlessly as you would have. Give her the strength to move after the surgery and have her back with us as soon as possible. Be with her as she begins the final count down. Comfort her and bind Satan as he attempts to discourage and scare her. We give you all the Glory and Praise for the miracle that is Amy. Amen.
