Thanks so much..it has been a great day!! Took hubby fr colonoscopy...had terrible pain, fever, vomiting and etc...2-3 times this past year....Dr wasn't sure if it was diverticulosus (sp) or cancer...history in family..well praise God...it is the former!!! Which is treatable for sure...he was so relieved...and so was I. I was able to see a nurse that helped me when I had my scope two weeks after surgery and I reintroduced myself to her and she hugged me and told me how wonderful I looked....she is also Christian and redhead! We had great time talking about how good our God is.. so what the enemy meant for evil turned out to be a blessing! Carolyn..have a blessed day tomorrow...I will be going out with my friend I met the day after surgery we both had surgery same day and found out we are neighbors and saved and have been surgery buddies ever since..so we are going to dinner together tomorrow night since church is tonight. Joan - I'm so glad that your hubby is ok. Diverticulosus (sp?) is so painful - my bro in law has, as well as some other friends, but at least maybe he can manage with diet, etc. I'm so glad its not cancer! How fun that you're going out tomorrow! I'm going out tonight for a quick dinner - after my 1 year post op meeting with my surgeon - before our monthly post op meeting, with 3 good friends that I've made through this - we've all had RNY. I'm the only Christian, but I can do what I can to shine His light. Such nice ladies! God is good!!! ~Carolyn

Hey Joan, we did it! By the grace of God and all of His amazing love and support of friends and family we are both 1 year out today. Happy Birthday Girlfriend! Love, Kim M.
