surgery on friday morning

Hi friends! I just found this board. How awesome! I am having surgery this friday morning at 9 a.m. I found out tuesday that I have strep so I'm resting and loading up on the penicillin. The on call doctor I saw wants me to put every thing off for 2 more weeks-arghhhh. I called my surgeon and he was fine with going ahead on friday since I will have been an antibiotics for 3 days and they'll give me iv antibiotics. Please put me on your prayer list that everything will go quickly and safely and that I will use this "tool" to lose the weight that is holding me down. Thanks so much! Be Blessed! Kelly

Kelly I will be praying and will pray now...Father God I lift up Kelly to You Lord and ask for Your Divine Hands to guide the surgeon and staff at the hospital tomorrow on Kelly's behalf. I pray for her recovery that all would go smooth and that You would be glorified in and through Kelly as she seeks Your will for her weight issues. Hi Kelly, By the time I saw your post it was Friday at 11:00 so I am sure you are in surgery as I write. I pray and know God is taking care of you and directing your surgeon's hands. I pray for the kindess, compassion and professional abilities of your nursing staff afterwards as they will play a huge part of your recovery. I pray that your pain medication works well and the antibiotics are working at the top of their abilities too. I pray for help for you afterwards and loving kindness of friends and family.
