Verse of the Day for Easter Sunday April 8th

Matthew 28: 5 - 7 The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here, he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. the go wuickly and tell his disciples: "He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him. Now I have told you." Father - You have raised your son from the dead. Death has no victory over us any longer due to the victory of Jesus on that first Easter morning. He is risen! He is risen indeed! Amen

Amen to that! Isn't it interesting that Jesus first revealed His resurrected self to women? I find it interesting how women seek the Lord more than men - I mean, in general. If you look at the church population, we dominate a bit over the men. I'm happy to be part of a church where the men are seeking to be men of God. I pray for more men to have that desire in their hearts - to be leaders in their homes and in the world - in a Godly way. Anyway - happy Easter! - Carolyn
