Medication tramadol or ultram?
I wish I could. The surgeon I used was deployed in the military, and the hospital where I had my surgery has closed. I feel very abandoned for having had such a major life changing procedure. My primary doctor is trying to help, but I definitely need to find a surgeon who will take on another drs. patient. UGH! Thanks for your reply. Kim M.
ALL I KNOW IS NO NSAIDs, NO ASPIRIN OR ASPIRIN PRODUCTS, NO TIME-RELEASED & NO CAPSULES. WHAT I DID WAS GIVE ALL THIS INFO (ALONG WITH A LIST OF GOOD/BAD DRUGS I HAVE) TO MY PHARMACIST AT WALGREENS & HE PUT IT IN MY RECORDS. HE HAS CAUGHT MEDICATION ERRORS OR MEDICATION COMBINATION PROBLEMS 3 TIMES FOR ME SINCE MY SURGERY. IF YOU CAN'T TALK WITH A GASTRIC BYPASS SURGEON (best choice), THEN TALK WITH YOUR PHARMAIST.
I HAD TO EXPLAIN WHY NO TIME-RELEASED MEDS TO MY CARDIOLOGIST; YOU'D THINK A SPECIALIST LIKE THAT WOULD ALREADY KNOW. MOST DOCTORS HAVE NO IDEA OF OUR SPECIAL NEEDS AFTER GASTRIC BYPASS.
I HAVE A LIST OF GOOD/BAD DRUGS ... I'LL SEND IT THROUGH YOUR PROFILE AS IT IS QUITE LONG.
GOD BLESS YOU ... DAWN & NICK
