Good Friday morning everyone! It's FRIDAY! The weekend is just about here! Got big plans? We DO! Torey's Jr. Prom is TONIGHT! Today is packed FULL for both he and I. I'll be sure to get pictures to share with ya'll. Tiffany is such a beautiful young lady. She's what is called a DDG. Drop dead gorgeous. I can't believe my son is so grown. He'll be 18 on May 9th. I find myself asking "Where did these 18 years go? WOW! I am SO PROUD of him. Father pride moment there! Our challenge today is to realize that everything that happens to us in this life, happens for a reason. NOTHING is just by accident. Choose to let your adversities in life make you strong. Not weak. Choose to let the good things make you thankful. Not prideful. Everything happens for a reason. What do you "choose" to get out of the things that happen to you? I have learned that things WILL make me stronger and better in this life. We are VICTORS, NOT VICTIMS! Right? So, who's up? What cha sipping on? Me? Nothing yet. I'm headed to the coffee pot as soon as I post this. Today will probably be Chocolate Raspberry coffee. SOUNDS SO GOOD!! I hope ya'll have a blessed and wonderful Friday! Randall

Good Morning Randall, I remember well the prom days. You have good reason to be proud. When my older son was having his senior prom, my daughter, who graduated two years prior, was asked to be one of his friend's dates. I have a photo of the two of them at the prom. My daughter is DDG as well. I like the topic today. I have struggled in the past with feeling sorry for myself for the things that happened to me in my life. But, I have learned that God allows things to help me grow in His likeness. Romans 8:28 is so true. Because of the things that happened to me, I am able to have a great deal of empathy for the clients I treat in my therapy job. My weekend plans are to work at the psychiatric hospital Saturday and Sunday. I am sipping my diet iced green tea. I am addicted to it. I drink a gallon a day. Have a blessed Resurrection Day. Hugs, Trish

Good Friday Morning All! I'm thankful today that God has given me the victory through the shed blood of Jesus Christ to be a victor over sin and eternal separation from God. It's because of Him that I have peace in the midst of my storms, joy in the midst of my troubles, clarity in the midst of confusion, and victory at the end of EVERY chapter in my life. God is SO good! Have a blessed weekend!
