Verse for the day April 2

Hebrews 12:2 Fixing our eyes upon Jesus, the author and perfector of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Father - As the day of Easter approaches, and we celebrate our risen Savior Jesus Christ, please let us all meditate and dwell on how richly we have been blessed. The grace of your love is amazing and we give you all the glory for what you have done for us. Amen.

I often wonder about that joy set before Him, as the pain of the cross was immense. That joy includes our eternal fellowship with Him and the Father. That joy involves such immense love for us. I am in awe of that much love that He would endure the pain and suffering of that cruel cross. Have a great day. Hugs, Trish
