Dear Ones, I have 2 issues going on right now. First, I have Fibromyalgia and am tired and in pain often. I do see a rheumatologist who is helping some. Second, after a discussion with my husband yesterday, it looks like I need to look for work. Financially, with 4 kids we definitely need the income. I applied to go back to substitute teaching back in January, but the state has yet to mail my license. I have primarily been a stay at home mom for 17 years. So here I am tired, in pain and need to work. Prayers and advice gladly accepted. Kim M.

Sally, thank you for praying for me. I do want to be in God's will and I know His timing and the job that I will take will be according to His plan. My biggest problem is forgetting to put my full trust in His ability to orchestrate this whole situation. A funny note, I told my husband I wanted a job that all I had to do was sleep. We both got a good laugh out of that one. Have a great day Sally, Kim M.

From one teacher to another, I will pray for you. I have been praying to get out of my teaching job. But that is another story. Lord, I pray for this sister and the needs of her family. I pray that you would provide her with the job you have for her, so that she can help her husband with the finances. I praise you because you supply all of our needs according to your riches in Christ. Thank you for what you have done for this family thus far, and for what you are going to do. In Jesus name. Amen.

Trisha, You are so on target with your prayer. He has always provided for us in amazing ways that I would never even have imagined on my own. I just don't have 100% confirmation in my heart that I am suppose to go back to teaching. Also, even my darling doctor in her sweet little foreign accent said," You know kids are DIFFERENT now adays !" I had been telling her about my anxiety of going back to work and !7 years passing is a long time and I my heart isn't into doing it like before. Plus I keep getting stumbling blocks with the state saying this and that paper are not complete etc. So now, we are winding down to the end of the school year. I thought about trying a temp agency for a little extra income and no formal long term commitment until fall. I did write Sunday School curriculum for a publishing company for a while but freelance work certainly isn't a steady paycheck either, but I would enjoy doing that again. The head quarters were in Col. Sprgs. when we lived there, but I guess I could do it long distance. I could check.I just want to be here for my 4 very busy children who are good kids and I don't want to give them full reign with my absence. I know I was naughty when my mom worked and I was home alone. ( a whole different story.) Also, I would love to hear about your teaching experience and your desire to leave. Thanks again, Trish! I pray God will direct you to His perfect path for you! Also, I pray that he will help you eliminate any debt that may be holding you in bondage. I do think you had discussed that at another time. Unfortunately, we are in a similar situation and it happened over a 2 year period. Blessings my sister, Kim M.
