It's Friday It's Friday, It's finally Friday Time to rise and shine. The weekend is about here. Got big plans? Me? Nope. Just enjoying the weekend and hope to get a little yard work done. Our challenge today is to get in your protein, water, and vitamins. These are essential to us and sometimes we forget how important they are. Stay focused and stay on track. Get 'er done ya'll! Oh my gosh! Do I ever second your "It's Friday It's Friday It's FINALLY Friday !" I'm sippin' decaf w/ff milk. I'm still not well, but getting better and am so looking forward to a weekend that isn't jam packed. Still need to be diligent though - no rest for parents of teenagers, ya know? My DD is furious with me that I won't let her spend the night at a friends tonight. She's been gone too much. Her friend is welcome to come to our house. I think they had plans that I would not have approved of. It's the only explanation why she was so upset. Oh well! Thank you Holy Spirit for giving me the discernment to say No. DS and I have a meeting on Tuesday to review his truancy and the consequences. Oh Lord, help me! We have put the camp idea on hold for him because we want more information. I'm getting a bad feeling about this doc who is recommending it - she's all gun-ho (sp?), and she's never even met my kid. She would get her $4K retainer, and that's on top of the $50K that we'd have to shell out. I'm still praying. If it be the Lord's will, I will have peace about the decision, and somehow the $$$ will be available. So - it's Friday ! Oh, and guess what??? I HAD TO GO BUY NEW JEANS AGAIN!!! SIZE 6!!! These past few days have been so busy....I feel lost having not been on the forum lately...but I've kept you all in my prayers. I am glad it's Friday....We are having a "multi-family" yard sale at my house tomorrow.The weather is supposed to be perfect. I'll need to be out early for my cafe con leche w/splenda from Ron's. It's a good think they open up at 6 AM. Ii'll need to be early! My daughter and her husband are on a cruise from Miami to the Bahamas. We are babysitting the 2 1/2 year old grandson. I hope she gets some rest. She has had some hypoglyemic attacks and one nose bleed on top of the persistent nausea......I just know she's carrying a girl!!!!!! My job as an RN starts Tuesday....it took a week to get all the background checks, health physical, drug tests and fingerprints since I will be working at the schools. I'm getting excited! Hope the house is becoming "home" Randall....and I hope your weekend is blessed and sunny!
