Good Thursday morning everyone! I'm up and at 'em early this morning. You are gonna laugh at me when I tell you what I've had to do this morning. I didn't sleep that good. I was awake at 4 and our trash guys run that early. They haven't stopped here in over a month. I've had to take my trash to the dump myself. I've called, complained, and this morning was it. I chased them down. I made them come back and empty my can. Guess what? They did too. Call me the trash police but I pay for them to do this. My can runneth over. I did NOT want to get out of bed at 4 and chase the trash truck, but I did. That's our challenge for today. Do not let anyone run over you. Stand your ground. We have to stnad up for ourselves. If we don't, we will get run over in this life. There is the right way to do this too. You can stand for yourself not letting anyone run over you and still be a good person. Don't get run over at home, school, or work. STAND up for yourself! So, who's up? What cha sipping on? Me? I'm sipping on my Starbuck's Cafe Cielo. So rich, so bold, SO GOOD! I hope you have a wonderful and blessed day as you stand up for yourself. Randall

Nicely said Randall. Now I am going back to bed. My braces got tightened yesterday and I just hurt a little to much to be up. See you all later. Loving the Lord, Sally

Randall, You crack me up. I can just imagine you running down the trash truck. Our trash truck comes about 6:00 each Wednesday morning- sometimes earlier. It is so funny because our whole street comes alive when the trash truck rumbles onto our road. People are scurrying in pj's, bathrobes, curlers, slippers etc. The other side of the street goes first and they never catch him so they are always running to our side of the street and bringing their trash. Also, every Wednesday without fail, I hear my husband fly out of bed yelling, "Oh no here he comes!" Then he flies around looking for a robe, coat etc. and the race is on. No one ever puts their trash out early because the racoons have a field day otherwise. Congratulations on catching the allusive trash truck! tee hee Kim McHugh

How funny! God bless you all! I'm wanting to go back to bed too! I have a terrible cold and it's not getting better. But, I'll do some work and go home early to try to recover a bit. I'll stand up for myself and take care of myself today. After I'm done standing up, I'm going to lie down!!! Take care all! I'm sippin decaf with nf milk. Love, In Christ, Carolyn

Hey Randall, Well it's 9:25 pm and I'm just reading your Coffe Talk for the day and it was something that I really needed today and I wish I would have read it earlier. I am a church secretary and today was one of those days that you just want to go home and cry. It seemed like everyone was pushing all the things that they didn't want to do onto my desk for me to do and the phone constantly rang all morning long. And then to top it the Pastor just getting back from his spring break says how relaxing and quite the office was today. What are you kidding me? Sometimes I just have to laugh at him. But you are so right we and I mean myself included, really need to stand up for ourselves, because like Dr. Phil says "We teach people how to treat us" and it is so true. So I'm going to try and be better at standing up for myself. Thank you for your inspiration today. Take care, Loni
