I am posting the weekend in one post because I will be out of the area and unsure if I will be able to post on separate days. Also, I wanted to share these verses in the hope that they will bring as much comfort to each of you as they did to me. We were given these in my Celebrate Recovery group last night and I wanted to share. Have a wonderful weekend. Oh - all of these are translated from the Living Bible. Feeling Helplessness? "For God is at work within you, helping you to want to obey him, and then helping you do what he wants." Phillippians 2:13 Dwelling on the past? "When someone becomes a Christian he becomes a brand new person inside. He is not the same any more. A new life has begun!" 2 Corinthians 5:17 Wanting for something? "And it is he who will supply all your needs from his riches in glory, because of what Christ Jesus has done for us." Phillippians 4:19 Feeling Alone? "Jesus says, "I am with you always." Matthew 28:20 Feeling Oppressed or Troubled? "All who are oppressed may come to him. He is a refuge for them in their times of trouble." Psalm 9:9 Afraid or in Doubt? "Yes, be bold and strong! Banish fear and doubt! For remember, the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9 Melancholy or Apathetic? "This is the day the Lord has made. We wll rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24 Worrying? "Let him have all your worries and cares, for he is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you." 1 Peter 5:7 Dear Father, I thank you for your words. So much love and truth in them. I am humbled and awed by your great love. Keep us safe troughout this busy weekend, and always keep us lifted up by your great mercy and grace. Amen. Loving all of you because of Him. Sally

Thanks Sally, I just sent these to my sister who is going through a tough time since she moved here from MD. She can't find a job and now today she is in pain (no insurance, new believer and feeling alone) All the verses were perfect...our God knows what we need and when. Love ya, Joan M
