Dear Father and Healer of our bodies and souls, I pray now for this man, Josh, let him be at peace. Give him the healing that only you can give. We do not know your plans for Josh, but we trust your ways with all our hearts. We ask for strength for his family as they go through this time of healing. If his body is to weak to continue on this earth and in this flesh, we ask for a peaceful release, but if your plan is to raise him up from this bed so that all can see and rejoice here, then we ask for strength to go through the long nights ahead. Either way Father, we trust you in all things and know that you understand the pain we go through when our hearts are breaking for the one we love. We thank you for being a relational God, one who loves us so much that you sent your own son to die and suffer on our behalf. But we also rejoice in the knowledge that our God has and can overcome death. "Death where is your sting?" It is gone because our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has set the captives free. Our victory is in Him. We praise your name Jesus for all that you have done and will do. Amen.
