Thanks everyone for your precious thought and prayers...I don't know scriptually if Sam is with the Lord but I know the Lord is with me....everything went smooth and being with a Christian Vet makes it even more precious. Sammy didn't flinch when he got the needle and I was with him the whole time loving him and holding him. We will be fine knowing that he isn't hurting or confused. Thanks again, Joan

I don't know the plans the Lord has for these created creatures, but I do know that He is Lord of All. In His Grip and so is Sammy! Sally

May the Lord be with you! Our pastor was asked once if our dogs would be in heaven with us. He said - would heaven be better with your dogs? We said, yes. And he said, then they'll probably be there! I like that. God bless you Joni!!! Much love, Carolyn

Joan, a friend of ours had his children asking about their cats when they passed away. They wanted to know if they would be in heaven, and I loved his response. He said, "if the presence of the cats will make your happiness complete, then the cats will be in heaven with you." I thought his response was great. I hope that helps somehow. My thoughts are with you Joan. Thank you for letting us know how things went. Those of us with pets understand your pain. Kim M.

Kim, I know that in the Scriptures there are some things that will remain a "mystery" until we see Jesus face to face and I love to ponder the fact, that in light of seeing Jesus face to face, everything else will just pale ...and I will not be worried or anxious about one thing. His will and plan is perfect. "Come quickly Lord Jesus" In His love, Joan M
