God speaks....

Needless to say, I'm anxious over my test tomorrow. I think God was specifically addressing me this AM in my devotion. I don't think it is by chance but rather by Divine design that Our Daily Bread February 28 reading was based on Philippians 4:4-9, specifically and the key verse was "Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you." 1 Peter 5:7. The insight says, "The peace of God is not a psychological state of mind, but is an inner calm or tranquility that comes from gratefully trusting in God's wisdom and sovereignty and from delighting in the Lord and mediating on His word. The peace of God is experienced by those, who have made peace with God....who is the God of peace." (Rom.5:1,9) Isn't it wonderful???? He knows what we need....when we need it and doesn't fail to show it to us.......which just have to be tuned to His presence and voice.

Yes, Ruthanne...God does speak when we seak Him and He wants to give His peace and guidance. I will be praying for you for the exam...remember the stones remembrance the Lord has brought you through during this whole process of schooling and how many tests you have taken thus far and His faithfulness to bring to your mind all you have prepared for. Yes it is wonderful that our God is so personal that He speaks directly to us and allows us to see His glory. "Be still and know that I am God" speaks to my heart so often and it gives me great comfort. I am not sure what tests you have planned, but I do know that the God who loves us has gone before us and will lead us home. Keep us informed as you move forward with faith that God is in control.
