"Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself."- Matthew 22:37-39 Today's passage is from the New International Version Hugs, Sandyd

Thank you Sandy. I have really enjoyed this LOVE focus that you've been doing. It's the key, isn't it? I co-hostessed a baby shower for a friend yesterday who is going to be doing foster care for babies with her husband. They're an older couple and their son is grown up. So, they're going to help care for babies. It was an amazing shower. We prayed over her and annointed her. People shared so deeply about caring for "the least of these" - we went through a couple of boxes of kleenex. Today is church day and I'm so glad. I hope you have a blessed time! Love and hugs, Carolyn

Oh Carolyn, I know your friend will bless so many babies. My husband and I cared for foster children when we were in our twenties and before we had any children of our own in our thirties. It has blessed us so much to hear success stories of the children we cared for. Their lives were often a mess, but when they are touched by the love of a believer, horrible hurt can be undone and filled with God's love. I understand how you went through the box of kleenex. I can still get teary eyed thinking about some of our kids even though it was 20 years ago. Kim M.

Carolyn what a wonderful work for your friends to do. I have wondered about that. I love working with children. Sunday church was wonderful. Hope you have a blessed week friend. Hugs, Sandyd
