***update on my daugher...little long.

Many of you have been faithful to include Lesley in your prayers.... Last Wednesday I accompanied her for an "unofficial" ultra sound by a friend. We saw the baby...now weighing a whoppin' 3 ounces. ( It's amazing...how can anyone not acknowledge that life begins with conception.....) Anyway, there was some concern that the amniotic fluid was low..She started crying and then with a little smile she said, "I can't cry - I can't afford to lose the water" We both laughed a little and then prayed. As you may know, Lesley has lost 12 pounds and even now entering her 2nd trimester, still experiences nausea and vomiting. (As I did with her....) Anyway, she decided to into the emergency room last Friday evening. They gave her 1 bag (1000cc) of fluid and asked her if she needed to void...she didn't, so they gave her a another 1000cc bag and again, asked her if she had the urge to void .... and she didn't. The doctor told her he could give her a 3rd bag, or release her and see if she could started drinking more on her own. She opted to go home and rest. She & her DH had been at the ER for over 7 hrs. She figured out that anything sweet makes her throw up so she obviously, has not been eating any sweet foods. So, yesterday she calls me and she described symptoms reflecting a hypoglycemic attack. She sat down and sipped some OJ and got a little better. I told her she needed to always carry some PB and cracker w/her. We still don't know if the little one is a boy or girl. She has her doctor's official ultra sound March 15 . Thank you all for your faithfulness in prayer..... ~Ruthanna

Ruthanna - thank you so much for the update!!! Praise God. I praise Him that He knows exactly what's happening and He alone is in control! I pray that you, your daughter and your whole family know a peace that passes all understanding. Lord, Jesus, I pray that you will touch Lesley and ease this nausea and vomitting. Lord, calm her stomach and help her to eat more and regain some strength. Lord, please place Your hand on this baby and protect it from now on. Lord, we ask for mercy and for Your perfect will, love and faithfulness. Thank You Jesus!!! Amen! Please keep us posted!!! - Carolyn
