Hi There! I love this Christianity Board SO much! Everyone on here is so wonderfully supportive and so eager to pray for each other! I just wish there was more activity on here. So in an effort to help that, I thought I'd start another thread. What has been your latest WOW moment in this WLS journey? What has been your BEST WOW moment in this journey? My latest is having a "1" in front of my weight (I think I told you all about this a couple of weeks ago). That felt great! My best, so far, is being able to sit in any restaurant booth! It's been so long since either of those things happened before. So I'm praising God for those (and so many other) WOW moments. So what's your WOW moment? Wendy

I have yet to start my journey, but I agree about the board. I always come here first (I also post on the DS board) to see what is going on and to pray for those in need. I will post more once I get my surgery. hugs-Amy

My best Wow was buying a long sleeve Eagle's T-shirt in XL, instead of 2XL. It means I can shop for T-shirts in the regular department like everyone else. I love this board. I don't post as often as I read, but I do pray when it is requested. Hugs, Trish

I just found this board yesterday. Thank You, God for directing me here. It is great to find folks here that I can get to know before we spend eternity together. I had a WOW moment this morning. I got into a pair of size 12 jeans and they fit! Not even tight. My best WOW moment was when my daughter said I look like the mom she remembers from her childhood. Blessings, Annette

Hello Annette and welcome to the best board!! The one about Jesus!! Hooray for size 12's!! That was a biggie for me too....I was freaking when that happened. My married daughter lives in COlorado...shame on her for having my Grandchildren so far away (smile), and I sent her the latest pic from my profile and she could not believe the difference since we saw her in December. She is so proud of me and happy for me. A dear friend of mine in Baltimore emailed me after she saw the latest pic and said she wasn't just saying it but I looked like a model...me...how silly but I was blessed by her love and encouragement....and her daughter (teen) who I was her Sunday School teacher screamed when she saw it and said that can't be Mrs Joni! Those are wow's I won't forget. God is so good and I am amazed at His unfailing love for us each day. Have a blessed day and welcome again...I will read your profile now. In His love, Joan M

Hi Wendy! I love this thread too, and I wish I had more time to post. I have a new job so I'm really limited on time, and no longer go anywhere else but here on OH. My latest WOW was just yesterday when I was overwhelmed with gratitude to the Lord for what He's done for me. Nothing really happened to trigger it, but I was overcome with the feelings of gratitude. Other WOW moments - crossing my legs (big WOW!), holding my bible on my lap (look, a lap with legs, not belly!), kneeling to pray and not having to pray that I'll be able to get back up, getting to Onederland!, wearing pant sized in single digits - size 8!, getting to size 16 was very WOW also! So, I'm in awe of our Lord and His desires and design for us!!! Praise You Lord Jesus for all You have done and will do!!! Thanks Wendy! BTW - I posted new photos on my profile tonight... See y'all! - Carolyn

Good morning Wendy...wow for you!!! And do you know something awesome? Your wows will continue. You will experience more and more and I pray the Lord gives you eyes to see them as they come...some are subtle and othrs are in your face wows! Keep up the good work He has begun in you... My wows...went to hamerick's again..income tax refund..praise the Lord! Bought 3 medium tops...small fit but I am still scared that if I was them and they shrink they won't fit. And none of them coast more than $6.00 @. I am wearing one with my new size 8 skirt I bought last week and that I took my picture in and put it on the profile. God is so good and I am blessed beyond measure. I too can cross my legs and find I do it sometimes w/o thinking and am still shocked I can get my leg up w/o lifting it from pant cuff...(smile) I agree with Carolyn...we are close in surgery dates, that it is a blessing and I continually praise the Lord Jesus for hearing my cries for help and mercy. His mercies are new every morning and great....GREAT is His faithfulness. In His love and grace...Joan M

I went to Wal-Mart hoping to get myself into a size 18 jeans and ended up having to get a size 16 instead! Another wow moment was when I saw my ex-husband after not seeing him for 25 years and he had his 18 year old son with him and the son told my ex, "Way to go Dad! She's pretty!" I did not want to start dating my ex...I mean, I paid good money to get rid of him 25 years ago, but that comment from his son meant the world to me. There are more wow moments, I guess, but those are the two that stand out and I've gotta get off of here and get ready for Sunday School. Love, Joni
