Friday Coffee Talk

WOO HOO!! It's FRIDAY! I hope you've had a great nights sleep and now you are up, at 'em, and ready to face a WONDERFUL day! Got big plans for the weekend? Our challenge for today is to be considerate of others. We HAVE to consider those around us and be courteous, friendly, and helpful. We never know what our friends, family, and co-workers are going through. If we are not considerate, we not only hurt them, but we hurt oursleves most of all. Consider their feelings. Consider what they may be going through. Consider that they have not yet had WLS and they need to feel loved and respected. Consider they might have family problems. Consider they may feel no one cares about them. So be considerate today. You could make someone's day very special by doing so. So, who's up? What cha sipping on? Me? Torey got me some awesome Vanilla Biscotti Coffee for Valentine's. It is so good. Gotta love that son of mine! He did GOOD!!! I hope you have a blessed, wonderful, and considerate day! Randall

Good morning Randall and everyone! I sure do love these coffee talks! It's sad that I need to be reminded to be considerate. But I do need to be reminded! As I read your post, it also reminded me of how it felt before WLS when people would judge me solely by my appearance. It's good to remember that; and then to remember never ever to do it to others. It really hurt so badly that I started to feel as worthless as they thought I was. I thank God for WLS and also for all of you on this board! Have a great Friday! Ok I guess I need to send someone a private message on the RNY board. I don't think I handled her request for support very well. Yesterday was a bad mood day for me and I think perhaps I got a bit ramped up about her flirting with someone other than her husband. Ok I get it - thanks for the coffee talk - goes right along with the Love one another verse. Here is a separate question - Your doc lets you drink coffee? Mine say no more than 1/2 c per day, but I hear so many drinking coffee. What is the 411 on that? In His Grip Always Sally

I like that Randall. My friend (you know the one) and I are always talking about being nice to people because you never know if you could be entertaining angels unawares. He gave me the cutest little porcelain box with The Children of the Inner Light Angel on it and it says "Smile....It could be an angel." Haven't heard from him since Sunday School last week, so that's distressing me, so keep up the prayers. Thanks!
