Can you believe??

I just found my way here!! I am so glad that I got steered over here. I've heard so much about this group and well I could use the support of a great bunch of people who LOVE the Lord!!! Please pray for me! I sure do need it. And I sure could use some good talks. I had a great one at church tonight. I need to learn to witness more to people when I have the opportunity. Sometimes you might just have that one moment and then it passes- and I feel so stupid for letting it get by me. I'm going to work on that!! Hope you all had a WONDERFUL blessed Valentine's Day! I sure did! Fellowshiping with my church and seeing my boys so involved it's a great feeling. Well.. I'm just rattling on. Hope to get to know all of you! Julie

Hi Julie!! I am glad you found us!! It took me a bit too and then just because I was streered here from another board. I know what you mean about witnessing...Its not always wasy and then I get frustrated with myself for not doing it. I'm just glad that God loves us and is patient with us or I would really be in trouble!!Welcome again!! Amy

Welcome Julie to a great group of believers who love the Lord and each other. You know our Pastor shared from Colossians chapter 4 last night about the each person that Paul mentioned in this chapter and their importance to the body of Christ. He said like them we each have gifts that have been given by the Lord but that we are all called to make disciples...I had to think about that a minute because I know I have the gift of evangelism because like Paul..."Woe to me if I do not preach the Gospel" but do I take time to invest into that life to help them to learn to be a disciple (follower). You sound like you love to be involved in people's lives and I will pray for the Lord to open opportunities to you that you will know have been opened by the Lord and for you to receive His wisdom in what to say and when and then waltch the Lord work. The Day of the Lord is coming soon so I know my heart is pleading to Him for the lost all around me and to use me however He chooses to reach them and to love them in Him. He will do in and through us His desire as we surrender our will to Him. Just keep loving Jesus and He will use you my Sister. Again welcome to a place of refuge in this journey.
