Tuesday Coffee Talk

MAN OH MAN have I missed you guys! I had a wonderful time on the Cruise, but it is good to be "home"! I hope you have had a wonderful nights rest and now you are ready to face the day with excitement and zeal! Time to get up and going! It is going to be an awesome day! Just stay dry! It's suppose to rain here today. Our challenge today is one that EVERYONE can accomplish. Just to simply SMILE !!! When you smile, it makes people wonder. They wonder what is going GREAT in "their" life. When you frown, EVERYONE knows you have trouble. Even though we face things in life, we can SMILE! We ALL have reason to smile! We ARE blessed! Did you know it takes more muscles to frown than it does to smile? If you are like me, I'd rather use less muscles anyway. Smile today. Make someone wonder! Smile today! Make someone else SMILE! They will if you will! So! Who's up? What cha sipping on! Me? I'm sipping on some WONDERFUL Chocolate Velvet thanks to Carmen and Poppa John! The Ship coffee was great, but I couldn't wait to get home to some flavored coffee. Us cruisers kept that coffee bar hot! Believe me! Yes, you are SO right Randall...it is easier to keep smiling even when things might not be going your way! I set this as a goal for myself some time ago. I do notice that people do respond to me better overall. I guess I was one of those people who was a frowner without really realizing it. I am not ALWAYS the best at this, but I do try! I am headed to the coffee pot shortly for same ole same ole, reg coffee with sugar and french vanilla creamer! It will warm me up for sure, as we got about 2 inches of snow overnight! Valena

Hi Randall, I am so glad you had a good cruise. It was good that you could go and get some respite for yourself. You deserve it. Smile? Me? Of course, I try to smile a lot, but it is hard. Sometimes it takes a real effort. Thanks for your faithful posts. Hugs, Trish
