Some of you know I just graduated nursing school. I take my RN NCLEX exam on March 1. I just turned 57 and even though I feel like a spring chick....I don't have the amount of time to explore different fields of interest and I want to get a job that will be stable. One that I like and have some sort of vision for mission. I have two job opportunities: 1)Working on the Med-Surg/telemetry/bariatic floor at the premier bariatric hospital in my metropolitan area and is 7 mi from my house. New graduate pay, 7-7 day shift and every other weekend. (I have never had to work weekends and this is the only time I have with my DH, kids and grandkids -- are these selfish thoughts?). The hospital system is classified as one of the nation's best 100 companies to work for. 2)Working as a school nurse at two inner city elementary schools, M-F, 7-3 days a week, summer's and all school holidays off, $3,000 signing bonus and $6,000 more a year but contract work, meaning that the job is totally related to a grant by the school board and FL dept. of health. I know I can find mission and purpose in providing healthcare to underpriviledged children. I just ask that you pray for God's guidance in my choice....that it is ultimately His direction that will provide the most good for His purpose in my life and those I come in contact with. As always, you are terrific and such a wonderful support.

Dear Father, We are so thankful for all that you do for us. Each day you meet our needs and fill us up. Thank you for always holding our hands as we move through our lives. My prayer today is that you would guide the decisions made in the area of career. Not just for my unknown friend who has requested help, but for myself and others who are looking at making changes and decisions. You know the path that we should travel. Please make it clear to each of us which that should be. We know that your hand is mighty in all things and we trust you to lead the way. Give each of us directions and wisdom to chose wisely for our lives. Thank you Father for you son, Jesus Christ, whom makes all things possible. In His Grip Always, Sally

Thank you friends, for your prayers. I just know that God will show me where He wants me to be. My sweet husband sent this to me, today: You are ready You are ready, right now, to achieve whatever you choose to achieve. There is energy, desire, creativity and effectiveness rising up inside of you, ready to be released. You are prepared for whatever may come your way. You are in a position to take it all in and make it all good. There are deeply held values that you are eager to express. You have magnificent dreams that now can be brought to life. You have what it takes to make this the best day you've ever known. All the lessons you've learned, all the experiences you've been through, have made you ready. Better than ever, you now understand what it means to live fully. More than anytime before, you now have access to opportunities for meaningful and lasting achievement. Just think about how well prepared you are, and that makes you even more so. Now you are ready, now you are willing, and now you are watching yourself begin to make it happen.
