Unbelieveable Darkness!

I think that the church has lost so much power because of the mistaken belief that in order to be Christians we must be tolerant of every type of behavior so that we can woo the unbeliever into the church. Often you hear people preaching God's love without preaching His Justice. First we cannot save anyone, we can only spead the Gospel and let the Holy Spirit do the rest. Secondly we are to love all people regardless of the darkness they are living in, but we are not to love or accept their sin. We cannot judge them but we have a duty to tell people the truth instead of just what they want to hear. Jesus taught sinners, but He always told then to leave their sin when he forgave them. It is clear in the Bible that we have a choice and that we can experience God's wonderful, eternal love, but only if we surrender to him and leave our sinful life at the cross. It is not politically correct to be Biblically accurate, but I would rather side with God and be ridiculed in this life than to hear the words "depart from me I know you not" in the world to come. Good for you for standing up for the Gospel! Who knows *****ad your posts and will come to Christ because of them?

Thank you Amy! To those professed "Christians" that I encountered who were so critical that I may have offended some with truth or that at times my answeres were all sweet and flowing with mink & honey, I reminded them that when Jesus encountered the Pharisees, He called them hypocites and liars, and with the money changers in the Temple, He physically drove themout and overturned their tables. There is a time to be loving and there is a time to be firm in defense of the Gospel. I want to thank all of you for your ind support which was much needed after a fierce battle with the "unfruitful works of darkness"! I invite you all to visit my ministry website at: http://www.Shiloh-Ministries.org Blessings, Ron
