OT work
With my new position and my new surgery. Yikes I am put to the test at work. I went back to work this week and was very overwhelmed. I have been asked to do a major presentation in Vancouver in about a week and the Vice President is going with me. I am not very computer literate and have to do a power point. I struggle. I have prayed for the Holy Spirit to guide my hands to create something I can be proud of. This is a very selfish thing I know, but I'm really scared and excited and worried and thrilled all at the same time.
I need a small prayer to give me the strength and my fingers the talent to create.
Thank you.
Amy - I will be praying for you! The first time I did a power point - about 7 years ago, my then 8 year old daughter showed me how to do everything. I'm not technical either, but found power point to be pretty friendly. I pray that He guides you through this! Praise God for He never gives us more than we can handle - AND He's there to be with you through this and to carry your burdens!
Take care - Carolyn
The key to PowerPoint is to keep it simple - don't get caught up in all the bells and whistles. Sometimes it's easiest to start with a blank format, instead of trying to make your text fit one of the sample formats. It's also helpful to insert your pictures and graphics first, size, then insert text box. If you want to make it fancy without a lot of work, go to insert background - use your picture or graphic as the background and text over it.
When I first started using the program, I spent way too much time trying to be fancy. I can now put together a 12-slide pp in about a half hour (sometimes I have to).
Praying for your success.
