Monday Coffee Talk

Good WET Monday morning everyone! Gotta love all this rain! I slept like a rock last night and I think it is because of the rain hitting the roof. Something about that isn't there? Our challenge today is to "Do unto others as you'd have done unto you". I think our society has gotten TOO far away from the Golden Rule. Who am I to say that though. Just my opinion. We want to beat each other up, criticize, kick 'em while they are down, and not LOVE like we should. It is hurting "us" and no one else. If we would learn to LOVE ourselves and treat OURSELVES with respect, we would treat others the way WE want to be treated. RIGHT?!? We had WLS to change our health, our weight, our looks and even to help LOVE ourselves more. Let's let that love shine through. Learn to love yourself. Come on! Get out of that "shell" you've been in for so many years! When we do, we will break down walls that will cause us to love not only "us" but those around us and our society will change! We were created in the image of God and God is a God of LOVE! If HE shines through, then we WILL love not only us, but EVERYONE! Who's up? What cha sipping on? Me? I'm sipping on Vanilla Hazelnut again this am and it sure is good. I hope you have a great and wonderful Monday! Randall

Good morning!!! I'm not sipping on anything yet...but I will be soon putting the coffee pot into motion. Just go to work! I will have my one cup and then start on my 32oz mug of water. I have GOT to get back to better habits! The Golden Rule...I have to remind myself of this SO often. I am emotional and quick to fly off the handle at times, especially at my poor hubby. Keeping this in mind helps me 'cool my jets'...sometimes. Have a great day! Valena

Good morning Randall What a great challenge. This is a reminder we can all use. Sometimes in our hurry, hurry, rush, rush world we forget the simple things like please and thank you and especially with those closest to us. What a blessing you are to remind us where we need to be. Hugs, Sandyd

Good Afternoon Randall, I need to teach this to my students. They are just the most wicked, nasty kids on the Earth. Anyway, I try to live by this. I am sipping on my diet iced green tea. My favorite beverage. Hugs, Trish
