How do you expect to recognize God during times of crisis if you haven't been taking notice of Him when things are going well? In all things give Him praise and thanksgiving, no matter what the situation, good or bad. God Bless! Karen

Hi Karen, This is a great topic for Christians. I used to take the good stuff in my life for granted, and not give God the glory for blessing me the way He did. Now, I am quick to praise Him and acknowledge His hand in all the good in my life. For example: Today, I went to a craft store to look at yarn, as my daughter is expecting my first grandchild. Well, they had all their yarn 25% off. What a blessing. The Lord knows my heart and my needs and blessed me that way. Hugs, Trish

Yes, Karen as our Pastor always says, you breathed this morning...that is reason enough to praise...and then he quotes Spurgeon I will not...if we have been saved then that is enough matter of praise! Amen? AMEN! Let the redeemed of the Lord say so! May we take the little yet so meaningful things Christ does daily in our lives and make us a grateful people. We did overview of Psalms last night at church and I went feeling like I wanted to stay home and have pity party for another headache I was dealing with but we went and I was soooo blessed. I praise God for urging me to get up and go and He met me there in my time of need. And the Psalms we covered were about praising even in the midst of seemingly no hope. Psalm 61....I love the verse that says, "when my heart is overwhelmed, please lead me to the Rock that is higher than I". To Him Who deserves all our praise... Joan M
