Update and continued prayers
Good Morning all!! I pray you all have a wonderful day praising and worshiping our Lord and Savior! I cannot remember what all I've told everyone but over the Christmas holidays we found out my mom has lymphoma. She had major surgery over Christmas with a mass being removed from her pancreas, spleen removed, three lymph nodes removed and 6" of her bowel removed. Anyway, she starts chemo this Tuesday and is nervous about it. Please keep her in your prayers for Tuesday and Wednesday. The doctor is splitting it up into two days.
Also, my husband has been talking to a company that has two openings, one in Pennsylvania and the other in Nashville, TN. I honestly am praying for Nashville, TN because it would be closer to our family. Right now we are 15 hours away and that would put us about 6 or 7 hours away and all interstate driving. So please continue to keep Paul and his job situation in your prayers.
Thank you so much!
Love,
Shel
Shel - oh dear girl! I will be praying! May the Lord bless your mom. May He be the healing force in her life. May He comfort her and reassure her that He will be with her always. May she live with confidence in Him!
Oh dear Lord! You know Shel's heart. Lord, if it be Your will for them to move closer to family, Lord, may You just blow open those doors! May You make clear the path for them to move to Nashville... and may this job for Paul be of Your doing! We praise You Lord Jesus for all that You do, all that You have done, and all that You will do! Amen!

Hi Shel,
Wow, what a heart wrenching prayer request. I will definitely pray for your mom at this time. Also, for your husband's possible job relocation. The Lord knows your needs and will open the right doors and close the right doors for you.
Father, we come to you now, asking that you be with Shel's mother at this time. We trust you for her care, and know that all things work together for good when you are in charge. Please bless this dear woman and give her your perfect peace at this time. Heal her body and draw her close to you. In Jesus name, Amen.
Shel..I loved my Mother in Law dearly and we were her live in caregivers when she had cancer...so I can pray specifically during my quiet time for you and her and your family. It is hard but I will tell you this...I grew as a believer during this time more than I think I would have w/o it. I leaned closer than ever on the Lord and knew it was His strength that kept Mom and me. And He is a Gracious God and the God of ALL comfort. Please know His love is amazing and unstoppable....
Father God I lift up Shel's Mom and Shel and her family to you now. Please Father put Your loving arms of comfort around them and Father we would be praying amiss if we didn't boldly ask for a healing for hr Mom. But Father I pray your will in her life and in Shel's. Father please help with the chemo, rom the time they go into the room, get the IV and after. I pray the oncology team will be gentle and compassionate and that you would use this time to minister as only You can do.
As for Paul Father only you can raise up a man in position so we ask Your will in Paul's life and that You would provide the desires of their hearts. Also, Father please provide financially for them beyond what they could ever ask or thinks as Ephesians 3:20 promises. You are awesome in love and power and nothing is too hard for You. Surround this family in Your blanket of love and peace. In Jesus' Name I pray...Amen
