Hello Everyone! I just got my new profile up and running last night. I posted some new pictures on it and now have five different photo albums: 1-Before WLS; 2-In Hospital; 3-Each month after WLS; 4-Family; 5-Me with my WLS surgeon. I see on some new profiles where their background is glittery and sparkles and inside their text boxes have color. How do you do those extra things? I have read the tutorial paper and don't find the answers. Also, I want to thank all of you who sent me such wonderful words of encouragement last week when I posted about finally entering into ONEderland! God bless each one of you! Love, Cindy 465/197/150

Cindy I was crying when I came to this board today and after looking at your photos I am crying again. You see I am just getting started in the process of getting WLS and I stepped on the scale today to find I have gained 10 lbs in the last few weeks. I weighed 379 today and I felt so helpless. I am starting WW thursday so I do not gain more weight prior to surgery and i have to learn how to eat all over again anyway. I just really wanted to thank you because I prayed to God to help me-and seeing your weight loss journey is an answer to that prayer. You are so beautiful and you look so thin. You started out beautiful in the first photos, but just seeing how the WLS has helped you get your life back is so encouraging. I know it has to feel like a new chance at life because life hurts in a lot of ways when you are 200+ lbs overweight. I know that God will help you lose the rest of the weight and that you will be such an encouragement to so many people as I hope to be some day. I will be here a bunch at this board and the main one if you ever need anything. God Bless You. Amy

Cindy!!!! Praise the Lord Jesus for your wonderful miracle!!! I cried while reading your profile and how you glorified the Lord Jesus in it and through your life. May He continue to give you wisdom as you listen for His wisdom regarding your food, exercise and all you do. I know He will let you get to the weight He created you to be. I was reading Proverbs this monring in the NLT and it goes so well with your testimony. This is what every Christian can experience as we seek the Lord and His wisdom. And those who have not received Jesus as Lord and Savior can have this too when they surrender their will to His and receive Him as Savior and Lord. I thank God for you and your testimony of His love and faithfulness. In Christ's love, Joan M Proverbs 2:6-15NLT 6 For the Lord grants wisdom! From his mouth come knowledge and understanding. 7 He grants a treasure of common sense to the honest. He is a shield to those who walk with integrity. 8 He guards the paths of the just and protects those who are faithful to him. 9 Then you will understand what is right, just, and fair, and you will find the right way to go. 10 For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will fill you with joy. 11 Wise choices will watch over you. Understanding will keep you safe. 12 Wisdom will save you from evil people, from those whose words are twisted. 13 These men turn from the right way to walk down dark paths. 14 They take pleasure in doing wrong, and they enjoy the twisted ways of evil. 15 Their actions are crooked, and their ways are wrong.
