Please Pray

I am asking for prayer for my walk with the Lord. I had a problem with a certain sinful behavior prior to my surgery, and didn't think it would continue after the surgery. Shamefully, I needed to repent and start over this weekend. Praise the Lord, God is a God of new beginnings. Please pray that I would have victory over this sin, and it would be history, permanently. Father God I lift up Trish to You and ask for your mercy and forgiveness for her. I pray that she would know that she has been set free from this and that You can give her strength to say know through the power of Your Holy Spirit. I pray the enemy would not be able to lie to her and tell her she is defeated but that Your Spirit would show her she is already vitorious through Your Son Jesus Christ Who paid the price for her victory on the cross of Calvary. Trish, I will pray and I admire you for seeking help. You are a great example to us all because we all sin and fall short of the glory of God. I try and submerge myself in God's word so that I will have scripture to resist the evil one with. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
