Tuesday Coffee Talk
Good Tuesday morning everyone! BRRRRR!! It is COLD!!! It's every bit of 22 hear in LA (Lower Alabama) this morning! For us, that's cold! The heats up and the bed is all warm. Made me wanna not get out of it!
Our challenge today is to get all your CHRISTmas decorations up and finished. Christmas is fast approaching! Do you have your tree up? What is the theme? Our tree has a traditional theme. We have every ornament from all the years past on it. We usually do a certain color theme tree but this year, I wanted every ornament that we had collected over the past 19 years. It has white lights and gold and pearl beads hanging every where with Joie's fiber optic angel standing tall at the top. I love the way it turned out. So, are you finished with your tree? All your decorations up? Better hurry! Just remember, it's not all about decoarations and trees though! Jesus is the reason for the season!
Who's up this morning? What cha sipping on? Me? I'm sipping on some wonderful Amaretto coffee this morning with some creamer and sweet-n-low. It's so good!
I hope you have a wonderful and blessed Tuesday! Get that tree up!
God bless you all!

Good Mornin' Randall....I'm sippin on my 2nd cup of cafe con lech w/splenda from Ron's. It's soooooo good, since it is a little cool in Miami, too. It's in the 60's this AM. We put our tree up the day after Thanksgiving....you have to do that because of the heat. They need to be in the air conditioning ASAP so we try to get ours right off the truck when they come in from North Carolina. It's about a 12' tree and for the last several years I have decorated it traditional. There are ornaments my mother crocheted, ornaments my kids made in school and now ornaments that my grandchildren are making. I have a "representative" ornament from every "theme" tree I've had, too. There are picture frame ornaments with pictures of the two grandmas in heaven and the three dogs that my children were raised with. Also there is a small flag that I put on the tree. The flag I got after 9/11. Add the colored balls, the candy canes and about 1500 colored lights, top it with an angel and wala....the Vincent Christmas Memory tree.
However, the boxes are still out and I need to get them put away. It's a busy week for me with my final in Statistics yesterday and my final nursing tests and presentation on Friday. I still have clinicals Tues., Wed., and Thurs., so the boxes may stay out until Saturday.
Jesus IS the reason for the Season and I always want to be found guilty of keeping CHRIST in CHRISTmas!
Have a blessed and sunny day!

Hey Randall,
Started out my day with a nice protein shake. I am getting so sick of those things. But, unfortunately, that is the price for my years of overindulging.
You people don't know from cold!!! Here in Ontario Canada, we are sitting at 14 below, celcius. Now we are talking cold. Nothing, (unfortunately) for us here, given that the temp doe**** about -35 in the winter. We are a hardy people.....
As for our tree, we (actually my hubby) put it up over the weekend. We have a lot of our old ornaments also. One of my daughters made them and put each member of the family's name on each balls. And last year, my hubby got some pewter circles, and put pictures of each of the grandchildren in them. Now for the problem, since Erica made the bulbs about 8 years ago, we have had more little blessings in the family. To date, she has not made any new balls.!!!! Need I say more!
And now we are being blessed again with a new child, by Erica, so I am sure she will update our tree soon!! What a wonderful God we serve.
God's blessings to all, and have a wonderful Tuesday.
In Christ,
Marilyn
