Prayer Request

Good morning everyone. I would like to ask for prayers, please, for my boyfriend David. He has Parkinson's Disease (he's 44 years old) resulting from blunt trauma to his head 5 years ago. Overall he's doing pretty well but lately he's been working too hard, far from home and has really been having a rough time. He went to Hawaii on a consulting job for the company he was forced to retire from when he got the Parkinsons. Everything was going well until there was an accident on the site and he got a broken arm. The next day, his lower back was in severe pain from the hit he took and he spent a few days on heavy pain meds just trying to get himself in shape enough for the long flight home. Well, he flew home (he's in Tampa, I'm in Miami) Tuesday and I'm thankful for that. He saw his neurologist Wed and had a new MRI and according to the doctor, 60% of his brain is dead and he has many anneurysms (probably spelled wrong), and the doctor gave him less than a year to live and told him to get his affairs in order ASAP. He went to the hospital Thurs for a CT scan with contrast and the chemicals and meds made him so sick they kept him overnight. So, please, remember him in your prayers. I love him dearly, he's the love of my life, my soulmate. I just found him last summer, we've only been back together for 5 months. He was my first love, we met when we were 18, fell madly in love, got married when we were 21, but then blew it, divorced, and I never thought I'd see him again. I never got over him, never forgot him. Then by chance I found him, called him, and we found our way back to each other immediately. So we've barely had a chance to start a new life and we're so afraid we don't have much time together! My daughters love him and it's going to break their hearts to lose their new "dad". I just pray that he can have a surgery that he's now looking into, to possibly help the Parkinsons and prolong his life. He has 3 teens also, so many people love him and need him! Thank you all for your prayers, I appreciate it very much. Jeanne

Thank you all very much, it means so much. I come to this board often but very seldom post. I'm thankful that I reached out today and you all came to help. I just talked to David a little bit ago, he has an appt with a neurosurgeon this Tuesday, so we'll see if there is anything that can be done at this point. His neurologist gave him the results today of the CT scan that they did Wed, and he just said "it's worse than we thought". Thankyou all again, I appreciate it. Jeanne
