"Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe,"- Hebrews 12:28 Today's passage is from the New International Version Hugs, Sandyd

Thanks Sandy. How comforting to know that His kingdom cannot be shaken. It feels at times like this world is nothing but shakey times and to be able to look ahead, with confidence and gratitude that there will come a time where we will no longer be tossed about by illness, financial distress, busy schedules, and various heart aches - well, it's very reassuring. The Father of Lights never changes and has no turning. We can hold fast to Him. Thanks again! - Carolyn

Thank you for sharing, Sandy! I love this verse! And on this day, I choose to rejoice. It doesn't matter if the boys are whining, if I can't find the glue glun (long story), or if I didn't sleep well last night. What does matter is that this day is another gift given to me by my Heavenly Father, and I shall rejoice and be glad in it! May the light of His love brighten your day even as you realize that His kingdom cannot be shaken! God bless!

Thank you Sandy. Today's sermon was on unity in the body. The preacher is an elder from another church, and he talked about how it doesn't matter if we all know each other when we gather together to worship and praise the Lord, the fact that we love the Lord gives us a sense of unity and oneness. That is why I love this forum. We love each other automatically as fellow kingdom dwellers. Hugs, Trish

At times our lives can feel that they are being shaken to the core. It is so comforting knowing that we have such an awesome God who is unrelentless and loving no matter what. Thanks for sharing. Di
